The applicant proposes to install a new gas fired electrical generator in the side yard.
Section 470-25 D (1) states “Equipment may only be located in the rear yard in conformance with the setback requirements for the zoning district in which it is located”. In the R-4 zoning district the required minimum rear yard setback is 25’.
Section 470-25.D (1). entitled “Accessory Buildings and Structures” A variance will be required from the Zoning Board of Appeals for a reduction of rear yard.
