This application is for the installation of a new air conditioning compressor in the side yard of the property
Section 470-25 D (1) states “Equipment may only be installed in the rear yard in conformance with the setback requirements for the zoning district in which it is located (25’)”.
Section 470-25.D (1) & (3). entitled “Accessory Buildings and Structures”. General regulations.”
A variance application will be required from the Zoning Board of Appeals for the location not in a rear yard.
