Public Works

The Department of Public Works oversees maintenance and repair of much of the Village's infrastructure. Sweeping, plowing, clean-up and repair of the Village-owned roadways. Village storm drainage systems, Village sanitary sewer systems, street lighting and much more, all fall under the purview of Public Works. Additionally, they serve as the maintenance staff for the Village Hall and Village owned properties, as well as the beautification staff when it comes time for spring planting at community entrances and in the down town areas or during the holidays. Much like the US Postal Service, they are out there doing their jobs regardless of the weather and frequently because of it.
